He was born on June 8th 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia as an only child. His trademark is uses of alliteration in raps. His parents divorced at the age of 3 years old. He attended Chicago State University and dropped out for his music career. In 2005 he was nominated for 10 grammies and won 3. He has his own record label named G O O D which stands for getting out our dreams.His mom, that he was dearly close to died Donda West on November 10th 2007 for complications in surgrey.Kanye also had a fiancée, who was a clothing designer named Alexis Phifer but they ended there engagment on April 21, 2008.
